These terms cover the WAM Computers Incorporated Backup Email Server SMS Alerts program and use of our public website.
Backup Email Server SMS Alerts
Customers who opt in receive automated text notifications when our emergency backup email server starts up or shuts down. This program provides operational service alerts, not marketing or promotional messages.
How to enroll
You enroll by giving explicit verbal consent during a phone call with WAM Computers Incorporated. An agent identifies our business, explains the alerts, message frequency, and potential message and data charges, provides STOP and HELP instructions, and references these terms and our Privacy Policy before asking for your consent. We record your consent with a timestamp and send a confirmation text.
Providing a phone number or purchasing a service alone does not enroll you. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on backup email server startup and shutdown events. You may also receive enrollment confirmations and replies to help or opt-out requests. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
Opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any program message to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out; no further program alerts will be sent unless you opt in again.

Delivery and privacy
SMS delivery depends on mobile networks and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. These server-status alerts are not an emergency response service.
